HTS, Zinki Terrorists fight each other in west Aleppo
For the second night in a row, the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki are clashing in the western countryside of the Aleppo Governorate.
According to opposition reports, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham attacked Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki’s positions near the town of Kafr Naha, prompting the latter to respond aggressively with mortar shells and rockets.
While no ground has been captured, the constant infighting between these rebel faction has plagued their ability to mount any offensives against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies in the Aleppo Governorate.
The Syrian Arab Army is already preparing to storm the western part of Aleppo City in their upcoming offensive; once this area is cleared, they will turn their attention to the western countryside of the provincial capital.
