Hamas vows to attack Israel after airstrikes kill fighters in Gaza
Hamas released a statement on Monday that vowed to retaliate against Israel for their recent airstrikes in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli airstrikes reportedly killed and wounded several members of Hamas’ ‘Ezzeddine Al-Qassam Brigades inside the Gaza Strip this past weekend.
Israel carried out several airstrikes over the Gaza Strip this past weekend after accusing Hamas and other Palestinian factions of firing rockets into the occupied territories.
Tensions between the two foes recently intensified after U.S. President Donald Trump announced last Wednesday that his country was recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
In response to Trump’s move, wide spread demonstrations were held in Palestine and the other nations in the Middle East, as protesters demanded the U.S. President reverse his decision.
