Video- Syrian Army uncovers massive tunnel used to launch surprise attacks in East Ghouta
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) uncovered a massive tunnel in the East Ghouta region of Damascus, Sunday, while combing through the Tal Kurdi area near ‘Adra.
According to military report, the tunnel was found underneath the town of Tal Kurdi and measured over 300 meters long and 8 meters deep.
The tunnel was reportedly used by the militant groups in the East Ghouta to launch surprise attacks against the Syrian Arab Army troops in this area – video below:
Syrian Army engineering teams put a large quantity of bombs inside the tunnel and then detonated the explosives in a bid to destroy it.
