45,000 Palestinians perform Friday prayer at al-Aqsa
Over 45,000 Palestinians performed Friday prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem amid Israeli tightened security measures in the Old City of Jerusalem.
The worshipers marched in the plazas of the holy site protesting the attempts to change the status quo in the occupied city. They carried Palestinian flags and chanted slogans condemning the US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
The Friday sermon that was delivered by al-Aqsa Preacher Sheikh Mohammad Salim, addressed the popular solidarity with the issue of Jerusalem over the past two weeks.
Sheikh Salim, however, denounced the weak positions of Arab and Muslim leaders towards Trump’s unjust decision.
