Largest Palestinian force in Syria heads to Hama for upcoming Idlib offensive
The most powerful Palestinian force in Syria, Liwaa Al-Quds, is heading to the northern countryside of Hama after a short deployment in the Deir Ezzor Governorate.
According to Liwaa Al-Quds’ spokesperson, the Palestinian force is heading to northern Hama in order to meet up with the Syrian Arab Army troops that are preparing to storm the southern countryside of Idlib.
Over the last three years, Liwaa Al-Quds has transformed from a small Palestinian militia of a few hundred fighters to a large paramilitary force comprised of a few thousand military personnel.
Liwaa Al-Quds has played an important role in several offensives this year, including the victories over ISIS in Deir Ezzor, southern Raqqa, and eastern Aleppo.
