Israeli army launches military drills near Gaza borders
Large-scale military maneuvers are expected to be held by the Israeli occupation army near Gaza borders in the next few days, Hebrew speaking media has reported.
According to Mivzak Live news site, Israeli soldiers will be put through simulated war scenarios to test particular skill sets needed to combat aggressions against Israeli targets in the internal front or on Gaza borders.
The same source quoted a senior military officer as stating that the maneuvers will provide a sort of battle lab in which forces can hone a spectrum of skills to be used in projected wars with Gaza.
The drills are slated to be wrapped up on Thursday.
