Hundreds of Terrorists Killed, over One Hundred Regions Freed in Syrian Army Operation in Hama, Idlib
The SOHR said that the army has captured a sum of 103 villages and towns in its operation against Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at or the Levant Liberation Board) and its allies in Northeastern Hama and Southeastern Idlib since the government forces started the attacks on Novembers 22.
It further added almost 400 terrorists have been killed and many more wounded in the operation.
The army men have now deployed at the terrorists’ positions South of Abu al-Dhohour airbase after the Al-Nusra lost the town of Sinjar to the government forces on Sunday.
Relevant reports said on Sunday that the army troops pushed the Al-Nusra Front back from the strategic town of Sinjar in their rapid push towards Abu al-Dhohour airbase in Southeastern Idlib on Sunday.
The army men stormed Al-Nusra and captured the town of Sinjar, a main stronghold of terrorists.
The army units also imposed control over the villages of Sar’a and Sari’a Southeast and East of Sinjar, al-Khiyarah and al-Motawasetah West of Sinjar.
The army’s engineering units have started defusing bombs and landmines planted by the terrorists in Sinjar and other newly-captured regions.
