Syrian Army Wins back Another Strategic Region in Eastern Damascus
The army soldiers stormed terrorists’ positions and advanced in the depth of Basatin al-Nashabiyeh, capturing the strategic Farzat hill.
In the meantime, other army units, operating in Harazma settlement, managed to advance against terrorists and cut off the road connecting the towns of al-Nashabiyeh and Douma.
Harazma is connected to al-Nashabiyeh from its Northeastern direction.
Also, the army’s artillery units and aircraft pounded the defense lines of Jeish al-Islam in al-Nashabiyeh and near Douma, Hamouriyeh and Otaya regions in Eastern Ghouta.
A field sources reported on Sunday that the Syrian Army managed to beat back terrorists from more regions near a key militant base in the town of Harasta in Eastern Ghouta.
The sources confirmed that the army men fought back terrorists from their strategic positions in Dhahiyeh region in Harasta.
The sources said that the army men managed to recapture all the positions they had lost in the last two weeks, including al-Hajaz garages and the buildings near the municipality of Harasta.
The army men have started restoring sustainable security to all their positions near the Vehicles Management Center, the sources added.
