Mashaal Emphasizes on Continuation of Resistance

Head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas has emphasized on continuation of the Palestinians’ resistance against the Zionist regime.

According to Al- Aalam News Network on Sunday, in interview with CNN, Khaled Mashaal stressed resistance and the Palestinians’ right to return to their homeland. Calling the Zionist regime as responsible for the recent aggression in Gaza, the Hamas official reiterated: “By targeting and assassinating Hamas commander “Ahmad Jaabari”, the Zionist regime initiated the recent attack on Gaza.
Rejecting targeting civilians by the Resistance members during the recent conflict, Mashaal added: the Palestinian Resistance does not attack civilians. The Palestinians were once living in peace when the Zionist regime occupied their land and according to the International Law, the defense is their right. The mass murder of Palestinians in Sabra and Shatila refugee camps indicates that the Zionist regime has committed so many crimes against Palestinians.
Mashaal also rejected Hamas’ involvement in Wednesday car bomb explosion in Tel Aviv and described the incident as an aftermath of the Zionist regime recent aggression in Gaza that can have even worse repercussions. During the Zionist regime military aggression on Gaza on November 14th, a total of 160 Palestinians were martyred and more than 1200 others were injured.
