Syrian Army’s less than 3km away from besieging southeast Idlib – map
The Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) recent advance in the southern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate has paved the way for their troops to reach the eastern part of the Idlib Governorate.
Over the last 24 hours, the Syrian Army’s Republican Guard has captured at least four towns located along the Idlib-Aleppo axis, putting them within range of reaching their troops near the Abu Dhuhour Airport front.
According to the latest reports from southern Aleppo, the Syrian Arab Army is less than 3km away from completely besieging the southeastern countryside of the Idlib.
The Syrian Army already enjoys fire control over this little passage way between the Aleppo and Idlib governorates; however, once it is officially linked, the jihadist rebels will be completely surrounded within a 900 square km front.
