Latest battlefield update from northern Aleppo – map
The Turkish-backed terrorists have been on a roll lately, capturing several areas from the YPG terrorists in the Afrin Canton of Aleppo.
Led by the Free Syrian Army (FSA), the Turkish-backed forces were able to capture two towns in the northwestern part of Afrin, today, following a fierce battle with the YPG.
According to pro-opposition media, their forces managed to capture the towns of Khalil and Sati Oshagi after breaking through the YPG’s lines at the northwestern corridor of Afrin.
The Turkish-backed terrorists are now trying to capture the key district of Rajou, which has been contested for more than 72 hours.
The pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) claims that at least 85 Kurdish fighters and 80 Turkish-backed combatants, including 9 soldiers, have been killed since the start of Operation Olive Branch.
