Muslim countries should counter Zionists’ moves

Palestinian Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Sheikh Yusuf Adeis condemned the Zionist regime’s continued desecration of Islamic sanctities in Palestine.

Adeis called on Arab and Muslim countries to confront the regime’s inauspicious plot to Judaize the holy city of Quds (Jerusalem), its desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque, and collaboration with Zionist settlers to attack Palestinian worshippers in the holy city.

Illegal Israeli settlers, backed by Israeli forces, frequently force their way into the al-Aqsa Mosque compound, which usually ends up in clashes and attacks on Palestinian worsjhipers.

This is while the Israeli regime continues to restrict the entrance of Palestinian worshipers into the al-Aqsa Mosque.

Nearly 90 percent of Palestinians believe that Israel is going to destroy the al-Aqsa Mosque and replace it with a temple, according to a recent poll conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research.
