Haneyya: US decisions will not change Hamas positions
Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya said that the US administration would not get the results they want from its decision to relocate its embassy, its Israeli capital recognition and its designation of Palestinian leaders as terrorists.
During a ceremony held on Saturday to honor Holy Qur’an learners in Gaza City, Haneyya stressed that the US decision to put him on its terror list would never change his Movement’s positions.
“Such decision will not change our positions and policies, but will make us move forward confidently.”
“The frivolous steps taken by the US against Jerusalem and its terror designation against us aim to make us bow to ‘the deal of the century,’ but we say that we will never surrender and such deal will never be allowed to happen,” he underlined.
“We will remain adherent to the resistance approach despite America’s terror claim against us, and will not be preoccupied with this decision and forget our main cause,” the Hamas official said.
