Meshaal to arrive in Gaza next week

Khalid Meshaal, the leader of Hamas, will visit Gaza strip for the first time.

The leader has been living abroad and has been previously prevented from entering Gaza by longtime Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

Mashaal will arrive in the Gaza Strip next week by crossing the border from Egypt to celebrate Hamas’ 25th anniversary and congratulate its leaders and fighters for battling the Israeli forces during the recent eight-day offensive.
