Syrian gov’t restores two oil wells in Deir Ezzor
The Syrian government recently restored two oil wells that were destroyed during the Islamic State’s (ISIS) reign of terror in the Deir Ezzor Governorate.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the Syrian government restored two wells at the Ta’em Oil Field in western Deir Ezzor.
The SANA report specifically said that wells 103 and 107 were restored at the Al-Ta’em Oil Field; they are both able to produce at least 500 barrels per day.
Furthermore, the restoration of the Ta’em Oil Field will play an imperative role in improving the electricity situation in the Deir Ezzor Governorate.
The SANA report added that the government also restored two water pumping stations in the towns of Shamitiyah and Muri’iyah.
