Al-Alam reporting team has been attacked by al-Qaeda-linked militants in the Syrian historic town of Ma’loula, in northeast of capital Damascus.
Head of al-Alam bureau in Syria, Hussein Murtaza, said Sunday afternoon that a team of reporters, who were the only press team entering Ma’loula with the Syrian army, came under attack by al-Qaeda-linked militants who tried to enter the town.

The Saudi-run satellite operator Arabsat on Wednesday took off air the Arabic-language Al-Alam television network without prior notice.

The Non-aligned Movement (NAM) and the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) have condemned a UN anti-Iran resolution on human rights violation.
In separate statements, NAM and OIC representatives expressed strong disapproval of a UN non-binding resolution which accuses Iran of human rights violation.
