A suicide bomber on a motorcycle attacked a joint patrol of US and Afghan troops near the US Armed Forces Bagram Airbase, media reports.

A terrorist has detonated himself near the US Armed Forces Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan, killing five military servicemen and leaving at least another six people injured, Afghan Governor Abdul Shukur Kudusi said Monday, Sputnik News reported.

The nationalities of those killed and injured from the blast have not been revealed.
