Commander of IRGC Ground forces has said in clashes with armed opposition, forces have killed 12 people of anti-Revolutionaries.

Brig. Gen. Mohammad Pakpour told reporters on Tuesday evening that in western borders with Iraq in Kermanshah province, a clash with a group of anti-Revolutionary opposition had broken out.

The general added that the group sought crossing borders, but an IRGC outpost detected them and gunshots were fired between them, during which 12 anti-Revolutionary mercenaries were killed.

“3 of IRGC forces were mildly injured, but considerable amount of ammunition and arms were seized from the mercenaries,” he told the press.
