At least 150 killed, 5000 injured in security forces’ crackdown on Cairo sit-ins

Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood says at least 120 people have been killed in the crackdown by the Egyptian security forces on protest sit-ins held by the supporters of ousted President Mohamed Morsi in Cairo.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian Interior Ministry has also claimed that 2 soldiers were killed in the clashes betweem the protesters and the security forces.

The Egyptian state TV has announced that the protesters have been evacuated from their camp in al-Nahda Square by the security forces.

Egyptian authorities have grounded all trains to prevent protesters leaving the capital.
