13-year-old girl raped in Faisalabad by two men

A 13-year-old girl suffering from polio was allegedly raped by two men in Faisalabad.

According to Dawn News, the accused persons raped the girl, who hailed from Jaranwala, and later escaped from the site of incident. The report, however, did not specify how the rape took place. The girl was immediately shifted to a hospital in a serious condition.
According to the police, the alleged rapists resided in the same year as the victim. The authorities registered a case against the suspects. Later, the police claimed that one of the accused men had been arrested whereas investigations were underway to apprehend the other suspect.
In a separate incident on October 19, the Timergara police arrested the rapist of a seven year old girl.
Fazal Mabood, station house officer of the Timergara police, said the police arrested the accused on the complaint of the girl.
He said the girl, resident of Shingrai, Timergara reported to the police she was raped by a youth, who runs a street shop.
