More than a dozen Takfiri Daesh militants have been killed in a dispute over the distribution of property stolen during attacks in Iraq’s embattled northern city of Mosul.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) spokesman in Mosul, Saeed Mamouzini, told Arabic-language al-Sumaria satellite television network on Tuesday that members of al-Hajj Nasser al-Mawla and Abu Mus’ab al-Mosuli terrorist groups turned on each other following disagreement over property and money in the Baaj district of militant-held Mosul, situated some 400 kilometers (248 miles) northwest of the capital, Baghdad.

Mamouzini said the terrorists then exchanged heavy gunfire, resulting in the death of eight militants from each side.

The KDP official added that Daesh extremists also stoned five women to death in the Ghazlani military base, which lies near Mosul, on Tuesday after the victims refused to agree to the militants’ orders and their austere dress code.
