2 Saudi regime forces killed by Yemeni sniper fire

Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement snipers have killed two Saudi troops during operations on the kingdom’s soil.

The Saudi troops were shot on Saturday during a retaliatory operation in the southern province of Jizan.

Meanwhile, Yemeni artillery also targeted positions held by Saudi forces and foreign mercenaries in Saudi Arabia’s Najran province, and caused several casualties.

Yemeni forces also launched several missile attacks on a gathering of Saudi soldiers in the province.

In the province of Asir, a Saudi military training camp was also hit by Yemeni missile fire.

The attacks by the Yemeni forces against Saudi targets are carried out in retaliation for Riyadh’s military aggression that was launched in March 2015.

On Friday, nine Yemeni civilians were killed during Saudi airstrikes on residential areas in the provinces of Sa’ada and Sana’a.

The Saudi aggression, which allegedly seeks to restore Yemen’s ex-government to power, has killed over 12,000 Yemenis, according to the latest tallies.

Over the past two years, Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement has been running state affairs and defending the nation against the Saudi aggression.

Also on Saturday, the UN warned against possible military action against Yemen’s Houthi-controlled port city of Hudaydah, where over 70 percent of the nation’s food imports and relief aid is delivered.
