The Islamic Republic of Iran maintains Hormuz Strait security: Habibollah Sayyari

The Islamic Republic of Iran will powerfully bring about security to the Strait of Hormuz, IRI Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said Tuesday.

Addressing a press briefing, Sayyari said that Velayat 90 war games proved that Iran’s naval forces were well capable of providing security in the Persian Gulf, Sea of Oman and Indian Ocean.

The Iranian forces are prepared for a powerful presence in international waters, said the commander adding all countries have a right to take to the international waters.
