Syrian Army uncovers weapon cache in northern Homs
A new depot containing weapons and ammunition has been recently found by the Syrian authorities in the northern countryside of Homs province.
The uncovered cache includes large quantities of assault rifles, hand grenades, in addition to explosive materials and IEDs.
The cache was uncovered somewhere near Talbisah town, located roughly 10 km from the city of Homs.
Security sources said that rebel militants have hidden weapons and explosives across the areas they used to control so they can be used at some later point by sleeper cells.
Several of weapon depots have been discovered by the Syrian forces since the Syrian Army took full control of the region on May 2017.
