360 People Return from Turkish Camps to Jisr al-Shughour as Normal Life Unfolds

Families who were forced by armed terrorist groups who are externally supported by the US and its regional allies out of their homes in Jisr al-Shughour continue to return. Today, the number of returnees reached 360 as normal life brought back by the army continues to unfold amid markets teeming with movement.

The movement of goods and crops marketing went on as usual as the agricultural season sets in, and trips of passengers to neighboring provinces continued.

Fadi Malandi, a shopkeeper, said that business proceeds as usual, adding that there’s no need to worry after the army restored calm to the city and neighboring villages.

Adnan Madanieh, from Janoudieh village, said that he had fled to the Turkish camps for fear of the armed groups, calling for bringing them to justice.

Imad Jajeh, a citizen, said that the reason why he balked at returning to his home was because of the propaganda claiming a loss of security in the city, adding that he was reassured by his fellow citizens who returned before him to come back.
