37 ISIL terrorists have been killed in fierce clashes with fighters of other militant groups in Eastern Qalamoun region in al-Reihan

Abu Hamza al-Ordoni and his forces were killed in fierce clashes with fighters of other militant groups in Eastern Qalamoun region in al-Reihan.

In the meantime, the Syrian army engaged in heavy fighting with terrorists in Jobar in the Eastern countryside of Damascus city, leaving several militants dead and several more wounded.

Reports said earlier today that body of a top ISIL commander, Abu Bakr al-Raqawi, has been found in Syria’s Jaroud al-Qalamoun bordering Lebanon.

“Al-Raqawi, whose body was found in Jaroud al-Qalamoun, was once a member of the Free Syrian Army, then he joined Fatah al-Sham Front (the newly-formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as the al-Nusra Front), but after the capture of Raqqa by ISIL, al-Raqawi pledged allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and became a prominent member of ISIL in Jaroud al-Qalamoun,” sources said.

“Security sources have grown the idea that al-Raqawi’s death was related to the two-year-long differences of Fatah al-Sham and ISIL (IS/ISIS/Daesh),” they added.

Al-Raqawi was behind too many terrorist operations in Lebanon, including the terror of Zaher Ezzeddeen, one of the senior internal security officials of the country.
