5th Intifada Conference starts in Tehran

The Heads of the three branches of the system, a number of the country’s civilian and military officials, speakers and senior parliamentary officials as well as outstanding Muslim and non-Muslim thinkers from about 70 countries and leaders of Palestinian groups attend the opening ceremony of the conference.

Parliamentary Speakers of Afghanistan, Indonesia, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar and Syria, former Tanzanian president, former Iraqi prime minister as well as delegations from Algeria, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Canada, Denmark, Kyrgyzstan, Malawi, Oman, Pakistan, Poland and Zimbabwe are attending the conference.

The two-day meeting is to discuss ways of supporting the oppressed Palestinian nation and restoring their denied rights.

It is to mobilize all facilities of Muslim world and other freedom loving states to support Intifada and the undeniable and basic rights of the Palestinian nation.

The motto of the conference is ‘Palestine is Palestinian homeland.’

Secretary General of the conference Hossein Sheikholeslam has said that 16 Parliamentary Speakers and 8 deputy speakers from different countries have declared their readiness to attend the meeting.
