8.000 killed, 90.000 displaced: See the devastation of war Benghazi

Factional fighting continued to rage in the Libyan city of Benghazi, which has been ravaged by conflict since last October.
More than 800 people have died – many of them civilians – in clashes between Islamist militants and forces loyal to the internationally-recognized government in Tobruk.

Government fighters claim to be making advances and gaining more ground every day in fighting in the south-west of the city, and hope they will take over northern Benghazi within a week.
More than 90,000 civilians have been displaced, and random shelling and rocket attacks have caused extensive damage.
