Abu Amro: The unity government will take responsibility for Gaza reconstruction

Deputy Prime Minister Ziyad Abu Amro said the Palestinian unity government would assume its responsibility for reconstructing Gaza and fulfilling its needs, pointing out that serious efforts started to end the suffering of the population in the Strip.

Abu Amr’s statements came during his visit on Thursday to Shifa hospital in Gaza along with other ministers to check on the health conditions of wounded civilians.

He hailed the “heroic” performance and great efforts made by the medical personnel in Gaza during the Israeli aggression.

He expressed his happiness for being among the people of Gaza who faced the Israeli occupation by their legendary steadfastness, according to his statements.

For his part, Health Minister Yousef Abu al-Rish welcomed Deputy Prime Minister Ziyad Abu Amro’s visit, saying that his visit would strengthen the Palestinian national unity in the face of Israel’s aggression.

Abu al-Rish briefed the deputy prime minister on the acute shortage of medical supplies and the seriousness of the health situation in Gaza.
