Administrative detainee moved to Ramla prison hospital

The Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) moved the journalist prisoner Mohamed al-Qiq to Ramla prison hospital after his serious health deterioration due to his hunger strike.

IOA has earlier turned the journalist prisoner to administrative detention for six months, his wife reported. The administrative detainee’s wife launched an appeal to human rights institutions to immediately intervene for her husband’s release especially die to his difficult health situation as he went on hunger strike for 26 consecutive days.

The journalist Mohamed al-Qiq was detained from his house in Ramallah on Nov. 21 under the pretext of “inciting violence”. Since then, he launched a hunger strike in protest against his illegal detention and the Israel ill-treatment.
