Ahmadinejad opens nat’l confab on developing coastal areas of Makran

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in port city of Chabahar, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, on Saturday inaugurated the first national conference on developing coastal areas of Makran and marine authority.

According to IRNA, the three-day conference opened in line with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s guidelines to develop the country’s southeastern coasts by the Iranian Navy.
Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said last week that the Leader had ordered his forces to develop the country’s southeastern coasts from Bandar Abbas to Makran.
Several articles on the relevant issues will be presented during the three-day event.
