Ahmadinejad: War is not the solution of Syrian Crisis

Iranian President said that the main path for a permanent solution to the Syrian crisis is through national accord among Syrians.

In a statement after his return from a visit to Indonesia and Vietnam, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that this goal was underlined by the officials in these two countries with whom he held talks with, and that there was an agreement in viewpoints in this issue.

He affirmed that war is not the solution of the current situation in Syria, where whoever wins the war cannot establish and guarantee sustainable security.

The Iranian President added that Indonesia decided to participate in the efforts to end the Syrian crisis.
