Ahmadinejad: World begins to enter a new era of harmony

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that the world begins to enter a new era of harmony in which all of the countries can cooperate with each other based on justice and mutual respect.
Ahmadinejad made the remarks during a meeting with the new French ambassador to Tehran, Bruno Foucher, on Saturday.

All the countries in the world should contribute to the establishment of the new global structure, and if some countries think that they can establish the new system by themselves, they are in the wrong, Ahmadinejad stated.

“There is no substantial disagreement between Iran and France,” he said. “But it is important that both countries make efforts to enhance mutual relations.”

In the meeting, Foucher submitted his credentials to President Ahmadinejad and said Iran has always earned the French nation’s respect and admiration. “Iran and France enjoy an historical relationship, and today we are determined to expand our relations with Tehran.”

He added, “We believe that if there is a disagreement between the two countries we can find a solution to resolve it.”

In a separate meeting with the new Pakistani ambassador to Tehran, Ahmadinejad said Tehran and Islamabad can facilitate the establishment of regional peace and stability with mutual cooperation.

Although the undue interference of foreign countries can create obstacles in the way of regional cooperation, “We can remove the obstacles and enhance mutual cooperation in all areas by sheer determination,” Ahmadinejad stated.

The new Pakistani ambassador also submitted his credentials to Ahmadinejad, saying, Iran and Pakistan can turn the tide of regional developments in their favor through political and economic interactions.

Ahmadinejad also held another meeting with the new Ecuadorian ambassador to Tehran on Saturday and discussed mutual relations between Tehran and Quito.
