Ahmadinejad’s gifts auctions off for the needy tomorrow

656100_origSecretary of Iran Public Welfare has announced that Iranian President personal gifts will be sold in and international auction for the benefits of disabled patients.
Mohammad Nasiri during the talks with MNA referred to holding the second charitable sales for president personal gifts which was given to him and his wife in the domestic and foreign trips and said: “in the first auction we sold 22 presidential gifts and collected 4,300 million Rials for the Public Welfare agency. Part of the money was spent on treatment and another part was spent on housing for disabled people.”

Nasiri continued: “in the second part, there are 30 of the presidential gifts which will be auction off internationally.”

The Secretary of Iran Public Welfare added: “Revenues from the sales of the President’s gifts, just like the first round, will be spent on providing housing for disabled patients.”

He noted that: “the second round of action for Presidential gifts will be held tomorrow (Monday) March 11th, with participation of donors and benefactors in Saadabad Palace complex.”

Last year Ahmadinejad had auctioned 52 presidential gifts and gave the proceeds from the sales of the gifts to Iran Public Welfare agency which was spent on disabled housing.
