Al-Azhar professors underscored the necessity of unity among Muslims and denominations in the Islamic world.

“Making unity among Muslims and proximity among denominations is incumbent upon all Muslims,” said Al-Azhar professor .

“The prophet of Islam advised Muslims to make unity and proximity among each other,” Al-Azhar professor, Dr. Ahmad Ebdurrahim Al-Sayeh said.

“The enemies of Islam exploit the division that exists among Shia and Sunnis and Muslims should underscore the necessity of unity and proximity among different denominations,” he said.

“We should underline the commonalities among all Muslims, such as believing in God, the prophet of Islam, resurrection and Qibla,” he said and went on,” Muslims should adhere strictly to the guidelines of Islam and do their best to remove any division among themselves.”

“Studying the history of Islam, we observe that the ignorance of Muslims in true understanding of Islam made division among themselves,” Al-Azhar professors mentioned.

He remonstrate the ignorance of Muslims and said, “Muslims should wake up and be aware of what is happening around them.”

“For making unity and proximity among Muslims, 20 Sunni scholars came into an agreement with some other Sunni scholars to found the new branches of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in the capitals of Islamic and Arabian countries,” Al Sayeh mentioned.

In this century it is required for all muslims and oppressed people to stand together with a great intimacy againts the zionist regimes, powers and thoughts. Now that all zionists come to a common point and try to slaughter all people- sunni, shi’i or any people who haven’t got zionist idea- why don’t all muslims and oppressed people meet a common point?
