Al-Jaafari: countries which support terrorists should adhere to UNSC resolution

Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Bashar al-Jaafari, said that the resolution adopted by the UN Security Council on placing the chemical weapons in Syria under the international control ” covers Syrian government’s fears.”

At a press conference at the end of the Council’s session, al-Jaafari called on the countries which supply the terrorist groups in Syria with weapons and money to stop that.

“Turkey, Saudi Arabia, France, Qatar and the US, which provide the terrorists with weapons and money, should adhere to the Council’s resolution,” he said.

He pointed out that the Syrian government is completely committed to attending the international conference on Syria due in Geneva next November to reach a political solution to the crisis in Syria.
