Al-Qusayr Minarets Prove Falsity of some Media Outlets’ Sectarian Claims

Al-Manar channel broadcast a report which revealed the falsity of some satellite and Arab channels’ sectarian claims about some incidents in Syria.

Some channels have broadcast a video of a group of men raising a flag that has “Imam Hussein” written on it, over the mosque of Imam Hasan Al-Mujtaba in Al-Qusayr. However, they claimed that the flag was raised over Caliph Omar Ibn Al-Khattab mosque, and indicated that the “Shiites” have taken control over the “Sunni” mosque in particular, and Al-Qusayr in general.

The report was shot in Al-Qusayr city and it clearly showed the difference in the shapes of the two mosques and their minarets, which confirmed that the flag was raised over Imam Hasan Mosque and some media outlets’ claims were only an attempt to disfigure the image of the resistance.
