Aleppo: Syrian Army Repulses Terrorists’ Attacks, Kills Ahrar Al-Sham’s Chief Armor Commander

The Syrian army and popular forces fended off the terrorists’ attacks on their military positions in the Northwestern and Western parts of Aleppo, killing tens of terrorists, including commander of Ahrar al-Sham’s tanks convoy commander.

Seifollah, commander of Ahrar al-Sham’s convoy of tanks and armored vehicles, was killed in the army’s counteroffensive in Northwestern and Western Aleppo.

In the Southern countryside of Aleppo city, the terrorists launched an attack to take control of the cement factory to the Southeast of the strategic al-Ramousiyeh region, but they were forced to withdraw after several hours of clashes.

At least 30 terrorists were killed and 40 others were also wounded in the Syrian army’s counteroffensive in Aleppo countryside.

In a relevant development on Monday, the Syrian army repulsed Jeish al-Fath’s attacks on the strategic al-Zahra region, killing over a dozen suicide attackers.

The Jeish al-Fath terrorists carried out fresh attacks on the Syrian army’s military positions in the Southern and Southwestern parts of Aleppo city to prevent the Syrian army from carrying out its mop-up operations at the military academy buildings and Ramousiyeh region.

Battlefield sources disclosed that over 15 suicide attackers from Fath al-Sham (formerly known as the Al-Nusra Front) and Ahrar al-Sham terrorist groups were killed in the Syrian army’s counteroffensive.

The Syrian army destroyed two suicide vehicles of the terrorists near al-Tabari school before it could hit its targets.

The army’s counteroffensive and repelling the terrorists’ attack came as Internet sites and social networks affiliated to the terrorists have claimed that the terrorist groups have taken control of al-Zahra region.

Also on Sunday, the Syrian army killed commander of a terrorist group in charge of conducting suicide attacks in Aleppo city.

Abu al-Mosana, suicide attacks commander of Fath al-Sham Front (the newly formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as the al-Nusra Front), was killed in the Syrian army attack Southwest of Aleppo province.

Several other terrorists who accompanied Abu al-Mosana were also killed in the attack.

Meantime, the Syrian army killed 8 terrorists of Lawa al-Fatehin terrorist group affiliated to Faylaq al-Sham in the Western part of the city of Aleppo.
