Allameh Fadhli was the pillar of Jihad movement in Saudi Arabia

Senior Iranian scholar expressed his condolences over the death of Saudi prominent cleric calling him the pillar of Jihad movement in eastern Saudi Arabia and a great reference for many Muslim scholars in the region.

Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, President of the Supreme Council at the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought attended the ceremony held for renowned Saudi scholar, late Allmahe Abdul Hadi Fadhli, hailing the Saudi figure as an encyclopedia and an intellectual who devoted his life for spread of Islamic knowledge, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He hailed the efforts of Allameh Fadhli for connecting original methods of thinking with modern anthropology and also combining seminary and modern university methods to create a new study style.

In this ceremony, held in the Iranian holy city of Qom, Ayatollah Taskhiri said,” The late scholar was also a remarkable literary figure who understood the thoughts of Ahlul Bayt (AS) and reflected their high thoughts in his literary works.”

He referred to the various books by late Allameh Fadhli which are used as reference for many scholars and researchers in both seminary and university.

Born in 1935, Allameh Abdul Hadi Fadhli, was an outstanding Shiite Muslim religious scholar from Saudi Arabia and a member of the Supreme Council at Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly.
