While the final rounds of Almaty talks between Iran and P5+1 has ended, a Western source told Mehr News that P5+1 has significantly retreated from its former position and it waits for Iran’s positive response to “our proposals.”

According to reports received by MNA, P5+1 has accepted the ‘fetwa’ (decree) which forbidden the construction and the use of nuclear weapons, issued by the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei as an international document.

On the other hand, an Iranian source closely associated with the negotiation team said that Iran had not received a new proposal from P5+1, but that “what has been received is the same proposals made in Baghdad round of talks, rewritten after 8 months.”

“The fact is that P5+1 has rewritten proposal it had made in Baghdad as a response to Moscow round of talks. So, what have been proposed to Iranian team are a response, and not a proposal,” he said, adding that “how much the response is acceptable, its needed more evaluation.”
