Ammar al-Hakim stresses the need to resolve Iraq issues through negotiation

The chairman of the Supreme Islamic Council of Iraq, Ammar al-Hakim, has stressed the necessity of starting serious negotiations to resolve Iraqi issues.

According the IRIB World Service , Seyyed Ammar al-Hakim in his meeting on Tuesday with Osama al-Nojeifi, the speaker of Iraqi Parliament, stressed the necessity of ending political bickering and starting serious talks to resolve issues.
He also called stressed that the campaign against the enemies and Al-Qaida terrorists is absolutely necessary, and asked al-Nojeifi to persuade members to the Iraqi parliament who had resigned to come back to the Parliament.
At this meeting, the two men also discussed a solution to the al-Anbar crisis and expressed their support for crackdown on militants and terrorists .
This meeting was held in al-Nojeifi’s office, and was attended by a number of Iraqi MPs.
