An ISIL German soccer player with Turkish origins killed in Syria

Burak Karan, a German soccer player with Turkish origins; he joined the National Team and also some other German football clubs. Sources say that he collected donations and sent them to anti-government fighters operating in Syria. After that, Karan decided to come to Syria after he was told that his donations never reached their destination. Karan, after arriving in Syria, joined the ranks of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. He fought with the organization for some time, and then he was killed in bombardment conducted by Syrian Army on “ISIL” strongholds in rural Aleppo last October.
