The Ansarullah fighters apprehended scores of terrorists and Saudi stooges in different Yemeni cities.
“The revolutionary fighters have nabbed a number of Takfiri terrorists in Sana’a and several other Yemeni cities,” the Arabic-language al-Akhbar newspaper quoted an Ansarullah leader, speaking on conditions of anonymity, as saying on Sunday.

The Ansarullah leader also noted that the Yemeni revolutionary forces also apprehended several Saudi stooges who were gathering information about the Yemeni army commanders and Ansarullah leaders.

“After interrogating these people we found out that they were planning to conduct suicide attacks and terrorist operations in Sana’a to wreak havoc in the Yemeni capital,” he added.

The apprehended people also confessed that they had received cash from Saudi Arabia for conducting terrorist operations in Yemen.

The Ansarullah fighters and army troops have made major advances in their fight against the al-Qaeda terrorists and forces loyal to fugitive President Mansour Hadi across Yemen in recent weeks.

The clashes between the Ansarullah fighters and the Saudi-backed al-Qaeda terrorists as well as the pro-Hadi militias continue in the Southern parts of the country as Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for 46 days now to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

Hadi stepped down in January and refused to reconsider the decision despite calls by Ansarullah revolutionaries of the Houthi movement.

Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

On April 21, Saudi Arabia declared end to Yemen airstrikes after weeks of bombings, but airstrikes are still underway.
