Anti-Zionist filmmaker to attend Fajr film festival

A French filmmaker well-known for his anti-Zionist tele-theatre will attend the 30th Fajr international film festival, the Iranian film producer Mohsen Ali Akbari said.

The Tele-theater named as “anti-Semitic” which has been shot in French is now prepared for display, he added.

Akbari noted that the anti-Semitic Tele-theatre is a socio-political criticism of Zionist leaders and shows Zionist Jews’ hostility towards Muslims.

The Iranian film producer said that the film will be screened at the section of video films in 30th Fajr International Film Festival.

The Fajr International Film Festival is Iran’s annual film festival, held every February in Tehran.

The festival, started in 1982, is under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and the Islamic Guidance. It takes place every year in the context of celebrations to mark anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Dieudonné M’bala M’bala is a French comedian, actor and political activist. He is leading a ‘justified fight’ against Zionism, and Tel-Aviv which he deems racist and oppressive. Dieudonné has been condemned in court several times for so-called anti-Semitic remarks.

Verbally and in demonstrations, he also supported migrants without a residence permit and the Palestinians.
