The “Arab and Muslim Assembly to support the choice of Resistance”, held a press conference, Saturday evening in hotel “Galleria – formerly the Marriott”, in which he announced the launch of the assembly and its objectives and program.In presence of a number of parties, intellectual, academic, and media figures from Lebanon and the Arab and Islamic countries, including Syria, Iraq and Iran.

The Conference was started by the Lebanese national anthem and the anthem of assembly, followed by a speech by A tribute to the youth rebels who broke the Zionist Israeli embassy in Cairo”the Secretary-General of the Assembly Dr. Yahya Ghaddar: “Being the first meeting on the agenda of the Executive Committee of the “Arab and Islamic world Assembly to support the choice of Resistance”,so it is not a surprise on this occasion to give credit to the Assembly and its role in the march of resistance and its victory over the brutal enemy, and to give the Assembly the honor in launching its voice as a witness and a missionary on the birth of the Assembly , which held its founding conference successfully in Cairo, in parallel with the uprisings revolutions that plotters wants it to be a collective chaos, but we adopted so it will form and interact with the rise of a new affiliation and loyalty to the nation, promising a victory on the enemies of arrogance, the imperialist American Zionist project.

He added: “The role assigned to us is a test assignment and not only an honor, especially since the labor is difficult and arduous, as the responsibility thatfill our conviction and our commitment is an historic duty, and a pattern of life that must be, despite the rugged tracks and our lack of necessary dynamics, especially since we are in front of scenic overcomed by the advancement of popular movement, which calls to follow-up and supplement its reins, so it will not fall as prey to predators from every direction”.
He concluded: “The Assembly aim for the general interests and causes of the nation, and in the forefront will be Palestine. And this is what Dr. Salah al-Din Desouki and Dr. Mohammed Sadiq al-Husseini, as Assistant Secretaries-General of the Assembly, will confirm by the purpose of the program of work of the assembly”.

Then Dr. Salah al-Din Desouki directed a tribute to the youth revolution of June 25 in Egypt, who broke the headquarters of the Zionist Occupation Israeli embassy in Cairo, forcing the Zionist Occupation Israeli ambassador to escape. He also drew a tribute to the martyrs and the wounded who were killed during the raid, saying that it is an evidence of the return of Egypt and the goals of this Assembly”.

At the end of the conference, Dr. Mohammed Sadiq al-Husseini stated the Programme of Action of the Assembly”.
