Army Cuts Off Militants’ Supply Route in Damascus

The Syrian army cut off the most important line of supply of the Takfiri militants between Darayya and al-Moadamyeh in Damascus province on Thursday.

The army won control over 1 km of the supply route in the farms between Darayya and al-Moadamyeh, disconnecting the most important arms and logistical supply route used by the militants in the region.

The army also seized militants’ weapons and ammunition in the clashes.

The development came as the Syrian warplanes bombed militants’ fortifications and positions in the farms between Darayya and  al-Moadamyeh.

Meanwhile, the Syrian army fired artillery shells and rockets at a terrorists’ concentration center in the North of al-Zohour Street in Khan al-Shih in Western Ghouta in Damascus countryside, killing and injuring a group of militants.

The army also fired artillery shells at the Takfiri militants while they were trying to carry their injured fellows, killing and injuring more terrorists.

Earlier reports said the Syrian army engaged in fierce clashes with militants in the North of Darayya city in Western Ghouta in Damascus countryside.

The Syrian army also fired artillery shells at terrorists’ positions in Jobar district, Darayya city and Khan al-Shih town in Damascus countryside.

The army also clashed with the Takfiris in the vicinity of Marj al-Sultan town in Eastern Ghouta.
