Army discovers tunnel used by terrorists in Damascus countryside

Army units tightened grip on terrorists, carrying out military operations against their gatherings and hideouts in several areas around the country on Monday.

The army found a 300 m long and 12 m deep tunnel dug by terrorists between al-Qaboun area and deep into Joubar neighborhood in Damascus countryside. The tunnel included an operations room.

Army units carried out operations against terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Damascus Countryside, killing and injuring scores of them, in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition.

In al-Mleiha town, the army units stormed terrorists’ dens and gatherings along with the weapons and ammunition inside them, killing and injuring many terrorists.

Among the dead terrorists were Mohammad Darwesh, Bara’a Allosh and Ali Krinbeh.

Other army units killed and injured scores of terrorists of the so-called “Islamic Army”.

Khlaid Ghabour and Anas Ja’rash were identified among the dead terrorists.

The army units also killed and injured a number of terrorists in the western farms of Khan al-Sheeh, destroying their weapons and ammunition.

The reporter added that another army unit clashed with terrorists in Daraya city, killing many of them, including Younis Saleh and Murtada al-Amret.

In the western countryside of Damascus, the army units inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in Ashrafit al-Wadi town.

In al-Zabadani area, an army units killed several terrorists, including Ali Mar’ai and Ahmad Harba.

Army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings and dens in various areas in Daraa al-Balad in the city of Daraa, leaving numbers of the terrorists dead and wounded.

Another army unit clashed with a terrorist group near al-Wardat village in the countryside, killing a number of its members, in addition to seizing their weapons and destroying a pick up car they were driving.

Another terrorist group was targeted on Samlin-Zamrin intersection, while more other terrorists were killed in Atman town. A terrorists’ car was also destroyed inside Salmin town.

In the same context, the army units stormed terrorists’ dens and gatherings in al-Hrak and Atman towns in Daraa countryside and in the area surrounding Bilal al-Habashi Mosque in Daraa al-Balad, killing and injuring scores of terrorists, in addition to destroying a number of their cars equipped with heavy machineguns.

A military source told SANA that another army unit foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate from al-Nazeheen camp to a military checkpoint in Daraa al-Balad, killing and injuring many of them.

Army units killed numbers of terrorists and injured many others in the villages of Haddadin, Rasem Bakro, Jabal al-Saharij, al-Khanat and al-Dabbaghat in Aleppo, a military source said.

The source added that terrorists’ gatherings were targeted in Bustan al-Basha, al-Sakhour, Qobtan al-Jabal, Hreitan and Bani Zed, killing many of the terrorists, injuring others and destroying their vehicles in Handarat Camp, Hanano, Mare’, Tal Jabin, al-Mislmeih, al-Hader, Ainjara and Arom.

A military source told SANA that units of the armed forces targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the area surrounding al-Arba’een mount, Bennish, Deir Sinbul and Sermin in Idleb countryside, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.

The source added that another army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in al-Douseh in Sermin.

The army units destroyed 4 cars equipped with heavy machineguns, killed 17 terrorists , some are non-Syrians, and injured dozens among them terrorists affiliated to the so-called “Dawoud Brigade” and “al-Muhajirin Battalion”.

Terrorist nicknamed Abu Hadi from “al-Intehariyyen Batalion” affiliated to the so-called al-Aqsa Jund was identified among the dead.

Army units destoryed a terrorist hideout east of Kafrhaya, eliminating the terrorists inside it and injuring others, including 25 terrorists most of which were foriegners.

Other units targeted terrorist gatherings in the towns of Kafrlata and Mantef, eliminating a number of them and injuring others, including Yemeni and Chechen terrorists.

Two ammo depots were destroyed in Maartamsrin and Kafrlata in addition to terrorists’ vehicles equipped with machineguns.

An army unit confronted a terrorist group tried to sneak into Jpourin village from Talbessa in Homs countryside and left a number of its members killed and wounded.

According to a military source the army units also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in al-Shiekh Ibrahim al-Hakim farm in al-Rastan, al-Salehin village in Homs eastern countryside, Um Sharshouh village in Talbessa, killing a number of terrorists and injured others.
