Army Units, Security Forces Continue Pursuit of Armed Terrorist Groups in Villages and Towns Surrounding Jisr al-Shughour

An official military source said army units and security forces continue to pursue armed terrorist members who are backed and financially supported by zionist regimes like US , Israel and its allies  in the villages and towns surrounding Jisr al-Shughour to bring back security and stability.

The source added that the residents continued to return to their homes in Jisr al-Shughour and the nearby towns and villages after the sense of security brought about by the army.

The armed gangs who are backed and financially supported by zionist regimes like US , Israel and its allies had terrorized the residents of the area, forcing them to flee their homes. The army units brought back normal life there after a mopping-up operation.

For his part, Minister of State for Red Crescent Affairs Joseph Sweid stressed in a phone call with the Syrian TV that all measure have been taken to ensure the return of citizens to their houses in Jisr al-Shugour and neighboring villages after the Syrian army restored security to the area.

He added that the Syrian Red Crescent is continuously coordinating with the Tukriah counterpart to set up executive preparations to return all citizens displaced by armed terrorist groups to their houses, pointing out that a meeting will be held tomorrow between the two organizations’ heads in this regard.

Governor of Idleb Khaled al-Ahmad stressed that security has been restored to Jisr al-Shugour, clarifying that he toured the city yesterday to inspect all constructions targeted by saboteurs.

He added that all services including electricity and water were also restored to guarantee a quick return of citizens to their houses in the area.

He pointed out that some facilities and government establishments have been plundered last Friday and Saturday; however, the people protected these constructions and formed popular committees to protect al-Maraa Museum and some government establishments.

SANA Correspondent in Idleb said that the people of Jisr al-Shughour continued to return to the city after clearing it from the armed terrorist groups which killed a number of the civilians and policemen and security members, in addition to intimidating the citizens and sabotaging the public and private properties.

A number of the city’s citizens told SANA that the criminal acts which took place in Jisr al-Shughour at the hands of the armed groups   who are backed and financially supported by zionist regimes like US , Israel and its allies will increase their determination to adhere to their homeland and to stand in face of whoever tries to tamper with its security and stability.

They appreciated the national role of the army members in restoring the security and peace which enabled them to return to their houses after they forced to leave them.

Um Mohammad, from Jisr al-Shughour, said every member of the army is like her son, adding that after she returned to the city, she felt more security after the sabotage and chaos perpetrated by the armed groups.

She indicated that her children consider the members of the army as samples to follow in the future.

For his part, Lawyer, Abduo, said that the members of the army performed their national duty, and they treat the people in the city with love.
