Assassination of Shateri proves Tel Aviv concern over resistance movement

Iran’s Ambassador to Beirut Ghazanfar Roknabadi said on Friday the assassination of head of Iran’s Reconstruction Headquarters in Lebanon, Brigadier General Hassan Shateri indicates the Zionist regime’s concern over continuation of the resistance movement.

According to IRNA, Roknabadi made the remarks on the sidelines of a ceremony to commemorate assassination of martyr Shateri at the Iranian embassy in Beirut.
Iran’s Embassy in Syria confirmed Thursday (Feb 14) that Shateri was assassinated by terrorist groups in Syria while he was on his way to Damascus airport to return to Lebanon from the Syrian city of Aleppo.
Martyr Shateri was in Aleppo to implement several reconstruction and development projects in that city.
The Iranian delegation, led by Martyr Shateri, played a major role in reconstructing southern Lebanon after the Zionist regime’s 33-day war against the country in 2006.
Martyr Shateri was highly respected by the Lebanese people and officials.
