Ayatollah Bushehri: Al Saud, main supporter of Takfiri groups

Grand Ayatollah Ayatollah Seyyed Hashim Husseini Bushehri, member of the Assembly of Experts in Iran’s Parliament, in an interview with Hawza News slammed Al Saud regime as the biggest financial and ideological supporter of Takfiri (excommunication) groups saying that the royal kingdom is stained with blood of both, Shia and Sunni Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” To utter the right and seeking justice seem to be so-called crimes by prominent Shia cleric, Sheikh Nimr al Nimr for which he was martyred.”

Deputy of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom praised the important role played by Sheikh Nimr in defending the rights of Shia community in Saudi Arabia highlighting the constant recommendations of the religious figure for maintaining moderation in behavior for all.

He referred to a part of the hostile crimes committed by Al Saud and slammed the Arab kingdom for undermining the regional peace due to its support for Takfiri groups.

Ayatollah Husseini Bushehri referred to the support of Al Saud regime for Saddam Hussein, former Iraqi dictator, and also its mismanagement of Hajj 2015 which led to killing of several thousand pilgrims in Mina as another part of crimes by the Arab government and slammed it for its ideological and financial supports for Takfiri terrorists in the Middle East region.

“Traces of Al Saud interventions in spread of war in the region and its warmongering policies are quite clear to all” said the scholar and rebuked Saudi invasion on the impoverished Yemeni nation as well as undermining the peace for Bahrain, Syria, Iraq and Pakistan.
